We’re such suckers…

As most of you know, Tanquery (Tanq for short) is our baby. He’s an integral part of the family and we spoil him to pieces. Constant affection, bits of dinner under the table, and new toys to destroy are all part of his daily life. He’s got it made. I’ve always said that if I was to be reincarnated, I’d want to be reincarnated as a house pet – this is EXACTLY the reason why. Last weekend, Tanq received an influx of new toys. Matthew, my 2yo nephew, wanted to give Tanq his stuffed frog. Tanq miraculously got a stuffed penguin from my mom. And to top it off, a new basketball doggie toy was gifted by Bella. He’s totally got it made.

…and I’m jealous.

Danae and Jason

Better late than never, huh? I had the pleasure of attending Danae and Jason’s wedding several weeks back. Given my ridiculous schedule, I haven’t gotten a chance to post the pictures from their wonderful event until now. It was held at Hakone Garden, a beautiful Japanese garden in the Saratoga hills. While many couples go for the standard wedding fare, Danae and Jason took a step outside the box and made the wedding incredibly “them.” A candy bar (filled with so many goodies that my dentist probably shouldn’t know about), a first dance consisting of the robot, a Nintendo Wii playing Rockband, and a photobooth with ridiculous props were some of the amazing touches they planned out. The day ran without a hitch and was easily one of the most relaxed and personal weddings I’ve seen. Congratulations to the happy couple!
