Ottilie Brodmann

A few of you all may have known this post was coming for a while. Elsa Brodmann, a local Nola fashion designer, has created her own label, Ottilie Brodmann and is starting off with a ready to wear bridal collection. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with her and Flipstyle Photography to create a set of images for her upcoming catalog. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Baby Cruz

Vacation was so relaxing - I needed it SO BAD. But now I'm back to the grind (hopefully refreshed and energetic enough to make it through the rest of the year).

So a little while back, Khanh and Derek had a baby boy, Cruz. While I was on vacation, I made sure I stopped by to snap some pictures! This was the first time I saw him and I must say, he's a cute little bugger. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time with the new family, but I did my best with the half hour I had. HDRly?

So I've been trying to get my HDR images to look right for a LONG time. With Photoshop, I could just never get the contrast and tones that I was expecting to see. Frustrating to say the least. So after some word of mouth, I decided to get my hands on Photomatix. Wow, what a difference. I went back to some old images I shot and created some HDR images with Photomatix and got the results below. Nifty.
