|
Rachel and Brian from Detroit. Motown...R&B...get it? HA! Yeah yeah, I know...it was a terrible joke. But hey, I'm a corny guy... Anyway, the story of this beautiful couple is a rather interesting one - of all the ways to meet, Rachel and Brian were introduced on a blind date set up by their friends. When was the last time you ever heard of a good blind date, let alone one that ended up in a marriage? Absolutely amazing...what a lucky couple! In preparation for their big day, we headed out to the river for an engagement shoot, only to be thwarted by cold/wind/rain. Mother nature simply was not on our side, but they were troopers and made the best of it! |

It really amazes me how fast these little ankle biters (my nephews) grow. I remember when I was scared to even touch Matthew because I didn't want to break him. Now he has quite the personality and has learned how to say 'NO' in 3 different languages. And David is growing up to be such a happy little baby. I especially love how his orange hoodie just pops. How can I not take pictures of these guys...they're so stinkin adorable. |

| 01.08.2009 | Adrienne and Eric |
|
Just before Christmas, I had the pleasure of shooting Adrienne's and Eric's wedding in New Orleans. Adrienne and Eric were a wonderful couple to work with - absolutely ecstatic to start their new life together and deeply in love. That made my job ridiculously easy. :) It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony at First Presbyterian Church with a portrait session in the French Quarter afterwards. Lugging a light stand with an umbrella around the Quarter is no easy task - good thing I brought some muscle to help me out (thanks Clara). Enjoy the photos...I know I had a blast taking them. And a huge congrats to the new couple! |

| 12.05.2008 | I really need to stop taking these hiatuses... |
|
Ok ok, I've been busy studying and half-losing my mind...but hey, that comes with the territory of school. Nevertheless, I have been shooting a fair bit in the mean time. Here are some shots from the past two months (jeez, has it really been that long since I last posted). |

Tanq should have bitten me for this. But it would have been worth it nevertheless...

| 10.08.2008 | Gummi Bears! |
|
With exam time closing in, what does the best girlfriend in the world do for me? Care package, baby! Woohoo! Snacks, sauces, and CANDY. Nothing complements hematology quite like gummi bears! |

|
Not every
day does your roomie from freshman year of college get married. And
not every day, does a couple throw a bash like this at the Ritz Carlton
in San Francisco. An incredibly elegant venue, a beautiful bride, a
goofy groom, the best wedding food I've ever had, and plenty of drinks.
Seriously good times ensued. Congrats Emi and Fred! |

This was quite an eventful summer with absoultely amazing photo opportunities. I'm quite sad to see it end (because I have to get back to the books). Nevertheless, I got to attend a wedding in Seattle and San Diego. Both were intimate and wonderfully-executed - I LOVE seeing weddings like this. And being a guest means I can actually have a good time and not worry about missing shots! Here are some shots of these two new lucky couples. |
